What you'll need to apply

To protect the quality of the marketplace — and the trust French clients place in Mon Meilleur Déménageur — every partner must provide five documents before activation. If you're a moving company operating in France, you almost certainly have all five already.

The 5 required documents

1. Kbis — under 3 months old. The Kbis is the official French business registration certificate, equivalent to a Certificate of Incorporation. It proves your company legally exists. We require a copy issued within the last 3 months. You can download it from monidenum.fr or from your company tax portal.

2. RC pro insurance — moving-specific cover. Professional liability insurance. For moving companies, we require a policy that explicitly covers moving operations — not a generic small-business policy.

3. Transport licence — domestic or EU Community transport licence. Operating as a moving company in France requires a transport authorisation. We verify the licence number against the official DREAL register.

4. URSSAF certificate — social contributions up to date. The URSSAF attestation de vigilance confirms your company is current on social security contributions. We re-check this document every 6 months.

5. RIB — bank account details. Your Relevé d'Identité Bancaire is used to set up your Stripe Connect Express account, through which Mon Meilleur Déménageur pays out the balance of each completed move.

The application process — 4 steps

Step 1 — Submit your documents online (15 minutes). Create an account on Mon Meilleur Déménageur, upload your 5 documents through the secure partner portal. All files are encrypted at rest and processed under GDPR.

Step 2 — Automated and manual verification (24 to 48 hours). We run automated checks: SIRET verified against INSEE Sirene API in real time, RC pro insurer validated, domestic or EU Community transport licence cross-referenced with DREAL register, URSSAF certificate date checked. A human operator reviews your Kbis.

Step 3 — Onboarding call (20 minutes). Once documents are validated, we schedule a 20-minute call via Calendly. We confirm your operating departments, your truck and crew capacity, your minimum project volume, any specialisations.

Step 4 — Activation, Stripe Connect setup, first projects. Right after the call, your account is activated. You complete Stripe Connect Express onboarding (5 to 10 minutes). Within hours, projects matching your filters appear in your dashboard.

Total time from application to first project: 48 to 72 hours.
