How to reach us

Email is our primary and preferred channel. Every conversation is logged, every commitment is in writing, and every claim has an audit trail. For your move itself, your day-to-day contact is the moving company you signed with — they have your phone number and you have theirs. Mon Meilleur Déménageur steps in only when the relationship needs an intermediary.

If something has gone wrong with your move (delay, damage, missing items, price disagreement, or unprofessional behaviour), follow this three-step process. It is the same process used by the consumer ombudsman and gives you the strongest possible position in case of escalation.

Step 1 — Contact your moving company directly, in writing. Send an email or a registered letter to the company that carried out your move, describing the problem precisely with dates, photographs if relevant, and the resolution you are asking for. French consumer law requires you to give the professional a fair chance to fix the issue before any external escalation.

Step 2 — After five business days without a satisfactory reply, copy contact@monmeilleurdemenageur.fr. Forward the full email thread to our claims team. We will open a file, contact the partner moving company on your behalf, and propose a resolution within ten business days.

Step 3 — After 60 days without resolution, escalate to the approved consumer mediator. Mediation is free for the consumer. The mediator's decision is non-binding but very rarely contested in practice.

You retain at all times the right to take the matter to the competent French court.

Consumer mediation

In accordance with articles L. 611-1 and following of the French Code de la consommation, Mon Meilleur Déménageur adheres to an approved consumer mediation scheme. The mediator's name, postal address, and online portal are published on our mediation page.

Any formal legal notification (mise en demeure, huissier service, regulatory request) must be sent by registered post with acknowledgement of receipt to the registered office of Mon Meilleur Déménageur, the address of which is listed on our Legal Notice page.
